Description
IWM has procured the services of a Basebuild Design Team and two Exhibition Design Teams for Transforming IWM London Phase 2 a&b. The teams will be working on two new exhibition galleries, plus a series of non-gallery spaces including three learning rooms, a research room with store and a conference room. IWM require a directly appointed Access Consultant to work with the three Project design teams to advise the Client, Design teams and other consultants to ensure that the museum is accessible to a wide range of users. This advice will include, but is not limited to, ensuring access for people with hearing, sight or mobility impairments, cognitive or learning disabilities. The Consultant will be required to lead the accessibility strategy of the project including, but not limited to, advising on the following disciplines on behalf of the Client for the duration of the contract.
