Description
The Marlowe Trust (the Trust) is seeking to commission specialist conservation quantity surveyor services in relation to the Marlowe Kit project in Canterbury, Kent (the Project). The Project seeks to repair and adapt a range of historic buildings in Canterbury city centre to provide a creative learning centre, heritage destination and cafe. The majority of this site comprises the extended Grade I Listed C13th Poor Priests Hospital' which is a building of national significance. The Trust has recently been awarded a Development Phase grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to help cover the cost of preparing more detailed designs and feasibility work including this services contract. The Trust has already appointed a conservation architect to lead on the design work and is now seeking a specialist quantity surveyor to join the team.
