Domestic Abuse Support Services - Children - AWARD

Since 1st January 2022, The Dudley Safe Accommodation Service has been offering children and young people a therapeutic and trauma informed service. The contract originated following the introduction of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and was commissioned due to a gap highlighted in support available for children and young people who are experiencing Domestic Abuse. Children and young people residing in safe accommodation are offered up to twelve therapeutic 1-1 direct work sessions. The aim of the support is to promote confidence, self-esteem and resilience, empowering children, and young people to express their thoughts and feelings around domestic abuse they have seen and heard. Dudley MBC plan to re-commission this contract for 12 months from 1st April 2025. The deadline for quotations is 2pm on 14 February 2025.
