Description
The final date and time for the submission of bids is Friday 27th August 2021 at 11:00am DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender documentation MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing portal. Brief Description of Requirement: MRC LMS seeks to engage an external provider of on-demand Illumina NovaSeq sequencing services to complement Show less description the existing NextSeq capabilities at the in-house facility. The service contract shall be in operation for a period of 1 year with the option to extend +1 years, for a total of 2 years. Minimum requirements: To deliver - 150bp paired-end sequencing on NovaSeq machines at flexible coverage, from full lanes (800G bases) to small samples (~1-3G bases) multiplexed with other users - Must be able to work with minimum sample concentrations of <= 1nM in 30-50 microlitres for 800G bases - Data transfer of demultiplexed samples in fastq.gz format directly to Imperial College London HPC via the Globus app - No lower limit on the number of samples and sequencing reads per submission at a fixed price per base - UK-based laboratory - Dedicated customer support that must be able to facilitate email communication within 24 Hours, and video calls as required. Performance criteria - At least 90% of reads with Q30 or higher - Evidence of no detectable barcode leakage Guaranteed turnaround time of 30 working days for volumes up to one S4 lane (1 to 800G bases). We anticipate requiring 5,000G bases per year. However, demand may vary significantly in both directions (realistically, from ~500G up to ~10,000G) and the provider must be able to accommodate that fluctuation in demand.
