Description
A contractor is sought to undertake fit out works to a heritage building in Hexham, Northumberland that will be used primarily as affordable housing. Tyne and Wear Building Preservation Trust is a small charity that has recently bought a vacant building that needs to be restored before re-use, The works will be part funded by the Hexham High Streets Heritage Action Zone that includes funding from Historic England and Northumberland County Council. A Schedule of Works has been prepared and will be released to upto 6 parties who meet the quality criteria. Interested parties are asked to send three case studies of relevant projects to martin@twbpt.org.uk describing how they are relevant to the Trust's work explaining how they have managed the contract, the range of technical skills employed and naming sub contractors used. We would ask that the interested party also explains how this size and type of contract fits within their operations and confirm they have the ability to undertake the work starting in calendar year 2023.
