Assessment for Certification Against ISO 27001

The purpose of this procurement exercise is to specify Ofqual's requirements in order to appoint a UKAS-accredited certification body to carry out the stage one and stage two assessments required for certification against ISO 27001, and subsequent annual assessments for the duration of the contract. Ofqual has been working to develop an effective Information Security Management System mapped to the controls identified in ISO 27002. As this work has progressed the organisation has decided to seek certification against the ISO 27001 standard. This contract is intended to cover the initial certification, and up to two annual assessments during the 3 years of certification.
