The proposed works will be in Room T012, ground floor T Block which is located on our Kedleston Road Campus in Derby. The project centres around the careful isolation of mechanical and electrical services, removal & carting away of the following :- wall and base units including kitchen appliances, worktops, sinks, low level stud partition wall, existing lighting , ceiling grid and tiles, floor finishes, dado trunking, existing double door-set, side lights and over panel. Installation of Gypliner Universal, plasterboard and skim to walls including new oak veneer double doorset and glazed sidelights, new Ecophon ceiling grid and tiles, Installation of Thorn Omega Pro LED lighting; supply, installation, commissioning and testing of an AKW supplied range of specialist kitchen units and equipment; supply, install, commission and test of Prism Medical TX200 driven hoist with H-System; additional electrical, mechanical and data services to reflect the proposed installation; decorations, floor finishes, audio visual installations, access control and furniture. Within the corridor outside the room, supply install, 3 tier, wet laminate lockers from Prospec. T Block was constructed built circa 1991 and an Asbestos Management Survey has been carried out and is included within the tender documentation for perusal. It is considered the building does not contain asbestos materials. However, all tradesman are to be briefed prior to commencement of work outlining the risks involved and any procedures / safe systems of work required. All personnel are to stay vigilant. Any concerns are to be reported immediately to the supervising officer on site who must inform the Projects Manager / Contract Administer immediately.
