WHHT - Acute Redevelopment Programme Next Phase Technical Support (LPP/2017/001)

Contract for Acute Redevelopment Programme Next Phase Technical Support at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT). The Trust has a small internal programme team in place currently and has plans to expand in house capacity and capability over the next 3 - 6 months and during the lifetime of the programme. However significant external expertise and project management capacity is required to support the outline and full business case and delivery stages of the redevelopment programme. The Trust sought to establish a non-exclusive call off contract with an expert advisory partner to support the next phase of planning and to scope required tasks. The expert partner will provide flexible professional programme management and estates advisory support, working in partnership with the Trust to ensure that the programme is delivered in line with expected timeframes utilising an appropriately robust programme methodology for a development of this scale. Given the range and scale of support expected to be required the selected partner may need to operate as a lead provider with access to a supply chain of specialist advisors, appropriately procured to give assurance of value for money and quality delivery. A mini competition has been run under the LPP Estates Professional Services Dynamic Purchasing System.
