**UKSA has reviewed feedback from this exercise and intends to issue this requirement via the Space Enabled and Geospatial Services DPS by the 16th June 2025** UKSA is opening a short Request for Information ahead of opening a planned procurement for a 2-year contract for technical advice services. UKSA is intending to procure two lots: Lot 1 (indicative total value of £450,200 inclusive of VAT for year 1 and 2) is focused on technical assurance activity. The contracted resource will include systems engineers and subject matter experts within fields pertinent to the space sector. Activities include but are not limited to: * Participation in technical milestone reviews * Participation in review panels for funding applications * Attendance of regular project review meetings * Providing ad-hoc technical advice across the project and programme teams * Contribute where appropriate towards studies run by the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE). Lot 2 (indicative value of £350,400 inclusive of VAT for year 1 and 2) is focused on research and development study support. The contracted resource will deliver technical desk-based studies into the Office of Chief Engineer portfolio of R&D activities. This will include, but not limited to: * Technical and programmatic feasibility studies * Technology report (inc insights, horizon scanning reports and technical notes) * Oversight Board participation * Bid application reviews Interested parties are invited to submit responses to this short Request for Information exercise detailed in "UKSA RFI - Technical Assurance and R&D Services" via email to commercial@ukspaceagency.gov.uk by 17:00 on Friday the 16th of May. Please note you are NOT required to submit a response to participate in the procurement; this will be in line with the process for the Space Enabled and Geospatial Services Dynamic Purchasing System, where relevant suppliers who meet the filters on the DPS will be invited to participate in due course.
