Description
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a bespoke local letting agent to market retail availability at both Kings Square and Queens Square Shopping Centres in West Bromwich town centre. The appointment will commence on 1 August 2026 for a two-year period. The successful agent will be able to evidence a proven track record of marketing town centre shopping centre lettings within the West Midlands and will work alongside the council's appointed property management agent. The core responsibilities of the letting agent will be to advise the council on value and marketability of void units, formulate a comprehensive marketing strategy and advertise as appropriate. Upon receipt of an offer of rent, the letting agent will negotiate and agree formal Heads of Terms for the new lease. The letting agent will also negotiate and agree formal Heads of Terms for lease renewals.
