Specialist Healthcare Tasks

Essex County Council, in partnership with the named Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups within this contract award notice, engaged the market in a procurement exercise to commission a Specialist Healthcare Tasks service that will provide competency based training and delegation of healthcare tasks to non-health qualified staff working with children and young people up to the age of 19. This service will be provided to a range of staff working with these young people, including SEN School transport providers, identified Essex Social Care staff, short break foster carers and identified or/and education staff and workers supporting young people who access Essex short breaks.
