Brain In Hand

Brain in Hand (BiH) is a digital self-management support system for adults who need help remembering things, making decisions, planning, or managing anxiety. It is particularly advocated to support people who having wellbeing needs emerge from autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Mental Health need or a mild learning disability. Approval is sought to award a new contract to Brain in Hand to provide 25 licenses for their app based support system for people with Autism, Learning disability or a mental health need, who are known to the Health and Wellbeing service and have eligible Care Act needs. For the period 30/04/23- 29/04/24This is to ensure continuation of service for this service that forms part of the strategy to prevent, reduce and delay Care Act Eligible needs. There are no alternative Suppliers are able to provide the same level of specialist support in an app based system for people who are autistic and or have a learning disability or mental health need.
