The supplier with the successful tender will be required to provide evidence that they have (or will have) prior to the contract commencement date the following insurances: • Public liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £10million in relation to any one claim or series of claims, policy coverage should be on a claim occurring basis • Employer's liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £10million where a Provider has employees, policy coverage should be on a claim occurring basis • Product liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £5million in relation to any one claim or series of claims, policy coverage should be on a claim occurring basis • Damage to the Authority's Property with a limit of indemnity of not less than £5million where a Provider has employees, policy coverage should be on a claim occurring basis All policies should be placed with an Insurer who has a Standards and Poor's rating of at least -A. Any successful bidder will be obliged to ensure that all professional consultants or Sub-Contractors involved in the provision of the Services hold and maintain appropriate cover.
Each Supplier must provide details of up to three contracts, to meet the technical and professional ability criteria set out in the procurement documents in any combination from either the public or private sectors; voluntary, charity or social enterprise (VCSE) that are relevant to our requirement. VCSEs may include samples of grant-funded work. Where this procurement is for supplies or services, the examples must be from the past three years.
