Description

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to establish a Framework Agreement for the Maintenance, Supply and Installation of Personal Home Stair Lifts and Through Ceiling Lifts. The framework agreement is for the supply, installation, servicing, maintenance, removal and re-installation of personal home lifts that improve the access to facilities for disabled people with sensory and mobility loss. The supply and installation work will be carried out in both private owner occupied and housing association properties. The servicing and maintenance will be carried out in private owner occupier's household properties. A small number of other items are serviced in respite services and in shared lives homes.\r \r Lot 1 - is for maintenance and annual servicing of stair lifts, maintenance and bi-annual servicing of through ceiling lifts and step-lifts and maintenance and bi-annual servicing and Lift Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) testing of ceiling track hoists and includes the removal, storage, refurbishment and re-installation of all the same items.\r \r Lot 2 - is for the supply and installation of new curved and straight stair lifts.\r \r Lot 3 - is for the supply and installation of new through ceiling lifts and step lifts.
