Description

Royal Berkshire Fire Authority (RBFA) have provided an employee assistance programme (EAP) for many years. The EAP is an integral part of the comprehensive wellbeing provision within RBFA alongside the Occupational Health service, sickness absence management, discretionary private healthcare, internal trauma support team, mental health first aiders, wellbeing training for staff and managers and health promotion activities. The core EAP provision should provide employees with confidential access to in the moment support via a number of routes / media, short term structured counselling delivered in person or remotely, health and wellbeing information and signposting to additional support. From time to time there is the need for additional services; this will be in the form of a call off and not a commitment to the service, such as counselling sessions above the set number of sessions agreed within the contract and / or critical incident debriefing that would be more suitably provided externally than by using RBFA's internal systems. This is a call off contract for core services and additional services that may be required. It should be noted that the total value estimated may not be required during the duration of the contract lifetime and pricing submissions should reflect this.
