Description

The works comprise - Newport Police Station: Removal and replacement carpeting and vinyl floor finishes to areas as identified, together with the redecoration of previously painted masonry surfaces and plasterboard ceilings. Preparation and redecoration of previously painted joinery surfaces (skirtings, door frames etc). Replacement door furniture (to doors indicated on site by the Contract Administrator). Removal and replacement of the existing custody charge desk, supply and installation of new wall recessed cell washbasins and associated mechanical and electrical adaptations. Encasement of existing internal radiators and associated pipework, external cell windows/cills, provision of ramped access into the exercise yard and partial covering above. Thorough cleaning on completion. The works comprise - Langley Court: Provision of new kitchenette facility and formation of new cleaner's cupboard. Removal and replacement of the existing suspended ceiling tiles and associated light fittings with a new fire alarm installation and CCTV system. Removal and replacement floor coverings throughout, together with redecorations to previously painted masonry surfaces.
