Description
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Hart District Council (the council) currently operates a combined fleet of approximately 70 road registered vehicles and 20 items of plant equipment that require tyres and related services. These services are to include but are not limited to; replacement of worn or damaged tyres either at the supplier's premises or council depot, the provision of a call out and roadside emergency service and the provision of a regular tyre and wheel inspection schedule to ensure safe and continuous running of the fleet. The council is looking to appoint a contractor to supply an efficient and reliable service as detailed in the specification within the tender document. The contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years.
