Legal input to Multi Agency Gold Incident Command Course (MAGIC)

The College of Policing has appointed Knowledgepool to provide an expert resource to deliver legal input and knowledge to the Multi Agency Gold Incident Command Course. The course will develop delegates' knowledge of their in-event and post-event priorities so that they; • have a greater understanding and awareness of the legal aspects of carrying out the role of a Strategic (Gold) Commander. • are clear on the importance of decision logging and the way in which decisions should be recorded to prepare Gold commanders for possible future inquiries. • are clear on what the experience of attending a public inquiry will entail, and the demands that will be made of them.
