Description
Contract for Countywide Infrastructure Services to provide effective, targeted support for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Leicestershire. The successful contractor will provide these services under the title of the Countywide Infrastructure Organisation. This support will; enable the VCS to influence policy making and service delivery, help local VCS groups to develop and thrive, encourage collaboration in order to increase VCS involvement in the delivery of public services, and facilitate support for volunteers and volunteering. The Contract will be delivered via an agreed work programme that is focused on delivering against the following Contract Priorities and Requirements. The work programme will be subject to review on an annual basis during the period of the contract. The anticipated value of the Requirements is approximately £399,438 per annum. Therefore, the totalcontractvalue over 3 years is expected to be approximately £1,198,314, and including the maximum optionalextensionof 18 months, would be approximately £1,797,471. The proposed service is based on current and known funding allocations. These could alter through the life of the contract in light of changes in future local and central government funding, but it is the intention of the Councils that these budgets will remain fixed fortheinitial 3 year fixed period of the Contract. Funding for possible extension(s) will be subject to ongoing review by, and agreement between, the funding partners. The contract is being funded by Leicestershire County Council, North West Leicestershire CCG, andEastLeicestershire and Rutland CCG.
