Description
Colchester Borough Council owns a local authority trading company, Colchester Commercial (Holdings) Ltd (CCHL), which began trading in April 2018 and is the parent company to three subsidiaries. One of these subsidiaries is Colchester Amphora Homes Ltd (the Client for this procurement), which is a Housing Development company established to provide high quality new homes for market sale and rent, including affordable homes for local people. The Client wishes to procure an architectural practice (the "Architect") to provide design services from RIBA stage A to D (stages 1 to 3) to include cost planning and the promotion of the scheme through to obtaining planning consent. The scheme at St.Runwald St is a 0.70 acre site currently used as a car park situated just south of the Dutch Quarter in the Colchester Town Centre Conservation Area. The Client is seeking a suitably qualified architectural firm to assist it in obtaining planning consent for high quality residential schemes at St. Runwald Street Car Park.
