Description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of The East Kent CCGs (NHS Ashford CCG, NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG, NHS South Kent Coast CCG and NHS Thanet CCG) (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the service(s). The NHS Long Term Plan explains the need to redesign health systems, including the urgent and emergency care services in England for people of all ages. It states that across the NHS, urgent and emergency care services will be redesigned to integrate between Emergency Departments (ED), traditional GP out-of-hours services, urgent care centres (UCC), NHS 111, and ambulance services; highlighting the fact that 'services need to be integrated around the patient in the context of developing Primary Care Networks (PCNs).
