Highway Maintenance Gangs and Other Operatives

NYCC wishes to award a framework agreement for Highway Maintenance Gangs and Other Operatives on behalf of NY Highways Ltd. The aim of this framework is to ensure the provision of highway maintenance gangs, comprising labour, vehicle, and appropriate plant and equipment, in order to work independently on highway maintenance tasks, under the general supervision of the NY Highways Ltd.'s staff. This will supplement in-house Highway Maintenance Gang resources during periods when the NY Highways Ltd faces additional demand. NY Highways is a wholly-owned subsidiary of North Yorkshire County Council. NY Highways will commence operations as North Yorkshire County Council's Highways Maintenance Contractor from 1st June 2021.
