Description
Park Valley Huddersfield (PVH) seeks a Main Contractor to convert a former Grade II Listed mill into high-quality office space for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the following sectors: financial and professional services; advanced manufacturing; health and life sciences; low carbon and environmental industries; digital and creative industries; and, food and drink. The new space will be called the Mending Rooms and will contain up to 20,600 sq ft (1,920 sq m) of office space. Construction work will start by June 2019 and will be completed by June 2020. This work will include: - part demolition and making good existing structural elements; - formation of a new entrance with a new core including stairs and lift; - creation of new openings and replacement of glazing; fitting out; and - creation of new external car park and circulation spaces. The procurement of a Main Contractor will be achieved by atwo-stage process. The first stage is the completion of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). All interested parties are invited to submit detailed proposals based upon the PQQ brief which can be accessed by emailing richard.jones@addspecialists.co.uk. The deadline for clarification questions is 4 p.m on 01 December 2018, and your PQQ response must be submitted by 11 a.m on 5 December 2018.
