Disability Equality Training

This Disability Equality Training course provides an opportunity for DfT staff to experience travelling across different modes of transport with disabled access guides who will share their personal perspectives around accessibility. This is then followed by an afternoon session in the classroom with trainers who will help identify strategic actions that can improve the travel experience for disabled people. These sessions will be delivered in person in London only, due to the location of the disabled access guides. This training is designed to increase understanding of the barriers that disabled travellers face and to help equip colleagues to improve the travel experience for disabled people through their work.
