Description
The key objectives of the programme are to upskill the primary, secondary and personalised care workforces to improve their awareness of the benefits of physical activity, to increase their confidence in prescribing and to signpost residents to physical activity opportunities. There is a specific population focus on supporting working aged adults (18 to 55-year-olds) to be active, and particular priority groups (i.e. people with a disability, long term health condition and those living in areas of deprivation as well as ethnic minorities and women).
