Description
The Council is seeking a single contract covering the following core requirements: a) Collection and haulage: Provision of a safe collection and haulage service for Inert Waste from specified HWRCs (Burton Farm, Hunters Lane, Lower House Farm and Princes Drive), as requested by the Council and within specified response times. b) Permitted facilities: Provision and operation of a suitable permitted Delivery Point(s) and/or End Destination site(s) for the safe receipt and reprocessing of Inert Waste from the HWRCs. The sites must be able to accept inert waste directly delivered by, or on behalf of the Council. c) Reprocessing and compliance: The safe reprocessing of Inert Waste, in accordance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, to produce recycled or reusable products/ outputs that meet quality standards and/ or end of waste criteria. With a minimum reuse or recycling rate of 95% by tonnage (not including contamination).
