Description
The NHS Long Term Plan and Implementation Framework includes a series of specific commitments to children and young people who are autistic and who have a learning disability and their families. This work is led by the Children and Young People's (CYP) Team in the Learning Disability and Autism Programme. NHS England and Improvement are looking for one or more third sector organisation who will become our partner(s) to deliver all, or various elements of, the identified engagement opportunities across the projects. These partner(s) should have a strong and credible reputation in the system who can support a broad range of workstreams and deliverables in enabling key areas of work to progress, develop and to support the dissemination of key messages and learning across the sector Partners will be selected based on their demonstrable suitability against the requirements and dependant on deliverables and the understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities knowledge including health provision. This opportunity is split into two lots: Lot 1 CETR Promotion Strategic support in partnership with CYP with a learning disability, Autism or both, families and clinicians, to review and strengthen the existing CETR policies. With a specific focus on promoting CETRs to Department of health and local authority partners, this will include support with learning and understanding around existing processes. Lot 2 Health Inequalities Strategic support in partnership with children and young people with a learning disability, Autism or both, to develop and produce information and strengthen work that focuses on health inequalities.
