Hawking Highlights Tour: Touring Set Build & Fit Out - AWARD

Stephen Hawking at Work (Hawking) is a touring display of highlights from the Science Museum Group's recent acquisition of objects from Professor Stephen Hawking's office. This small exhibition gives an insight into the working life of the world-renowned theoretical physicist. The content comprises a rare copy of Hawking's PhD thesis, his wheelchair, and approximately 16 small objects of personal and professional significance. Hawking is currently on display in the space gallery at the Science Museum in London. In late January 2023, the exhibit will be deinstalled and packed for transport and to the Science and Industry Museum (SIM, Manchester). In May 2023, the exhibit will move to the National Science and Media Museum (NSMM, Bradford). This tender is for the installation and deinstallation of the exhibition set and graphics at SIM and NSMM.
