UDF Fund Advisor

This procurement process is related to the provision of Fund adviser, and operation services for the LCR Urban Development Fund. The fund has 5 000 000 GBP available for Research and Innovation infrastructure and facilities; 10 000 000 GBP for increase growth capacity for SMEs, and 10 000 000 GBP available for low carbon investments such as promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy use in enterprises. In accordance to PA1 (a), PA3 (c), and PA4 (b) as per the England 2014-2020 Operational Programme. The contract includes (but not limited to): • Advising on, and review of, the Investment Strategy. • Support the pipeline development of potential projects through its own network and participation in marketing and promotion of the LCR UDF. • Conducting due diligence, ensuring co-investment, and structuring of investments on eligible projects. • Monitoring compliance and risk in accordance with accountability requirements, and eligibility rules applicable to the investment priorities. • Registering and publishing all notices, statements or other instruments as may be required in relation to the Fund. • Building and overseeing the UDF portfolio to ensure the achievement of eligible expenditure, output and financial returns targets, recommending drawdowns and repayment schemes for the individual investments. • Managing and recommending appropriate exit strategies from relevant investments.
