Description
The Royal Marsden NHS Trust requires a local maintenance service for specialist Nuclear Medicine reporting software, which must be compatible with Trust's existing Hermes hardware. Furthermore, the Trust is starting a new service for Lung VQ that requires re-projection of the acquisition through a specific lung quantification, which is believed to be exclusive to Hermes' service. In addition, the trust has used the current software for patients under clinical trials, and therefore, needs the same applications to be utilized to ensure continuity and reproducibility of results. Hence, the current integration between Hermes and RIS is fundamental for the service efficacy. The value of this contract is above the OJEU limit. However, Hermes is the only supplier in the market who can offer this service, thus, no tender process was completed and a VEAT notice was issued.
