In summary, the works comprise: • Construction of an engineered lined rhyne approximately 8m wide and 300m long; • Construction of the rhyne outfall into the River Brue; • Installation of a 1200mm dia culvert and associated earthworks to create a pedestrian crossing over the new rhyne; • Installation of a 1200mm dia culvert and associated earthworks to create a maintenance crossing over the new rhyne; • Design of headwall, culvert and rhyne lining structures; • Backfilling the adjacent existing rhyne; and • Diversion of private water supplies.
