GB-Salisbury: R1000133133 - Titanium Swarf

TheAuthority, Dstl, wishes to invite prospective suppliers to express their interest in the following requirement: To supply, handle, wash, dry and store, on behalf of Dstl, titanium feedstock from scrap / swarf supply sources in the following categories: 1. Mixed swarf - 1000 kg of titanium alloy chips from unsegregated stocks. Any continuous turnings should be broken up into chips to allow compaction for storage. 2. Ti-6Al-4V swarf - 1000 kg of Ti-6Al-4V chips from appropriately segregated stocks (broken up if necessary). 3. Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo swarf - 1000 kg of Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo chips from appropriately segregated stocks (broken up if necessary). This is an expression of interest only at this time.
