Description
The key strategic direction for the Service is to facilitate the delivery of the Oxfordshire Way to help people remain independent in their communities.\r \r The provision of Information and Advice can help to avoid the need for care and support developing and is a key pillar in delivering the Oxfordshire Way. We want people in Oxfordshire to know where they can access the right information and advice to help them make good choices about the help they or their family might need. Through using a strengths-based way of working more people will be enabled to live at home independently and confidently for longer. This will reduce or delay the need for more intensive health and social care services.\r \r The Services will focus on creating a self-developing culture of information and advice and developing communities of practice to strengthen Oxfordshire resident's health and wellbeing.\r \r Oxfordshire would like to improve joint working with the Council, Health, and the Voluntary Sector to strengthen the prevention agenda and build greater resilience in our communities.\r \r Tenderers are invited to tender for the provision of the Services described at Appendix 1 Specification for The Community Information Network Service (Lot 1) and Oxfordshire Urgent Community Link Service (Lot 2) (under the Light Touch Regime - Schedule 3 Public Contract Regulations 2015) for an initial term of three years with an option for the Council to extend for up to a further two years. The contracts are anticipated to commence on 1st April 2023.\r \r The maximum annual combined contract value for both Lots 1 and 2 is anticipated to be £1,144,597.00 and therefore the combined contract value for the 5-year term for lot 1 and Lot 2 is £ £5,722,985.00 (with contract extension). The contract for Lot 1 will have the flexibility to include additional and complimentary services (see Contract, SC2.1), during the lifetime term of the Contract in line with Regulation 72 of the Public Contract Regulation (2015).
