This opportunity is for the procurement of a Strategic Delivery Partner (SDP) for London Metropolitan University To help us achieve these strategic targets, our objective is to procure a long-term partnership with a Tier One organisation and FM provider who will: a. Build & deliver capital projects with quality and value through the life of the Estates Strategy b. Provide strategic build, maintain and operate advice throughout the delivery of the Strategy to optimise operational outcomes and life cycle costs c. Ensure a best-in-class transition from construction to operation d. Lead a Total Facilities Management (TFM) service with the student experience at the heart of operations e. Deliver net zero targets through sustainability in all capital projects and TFM services f. Identify & leverage strategic opportunities in our campus facilities to continuously add value g. Maximise positive impact on teaching outcomes, school identities & community experience h. Promote social value and achieve excellence in safety, site operations and campus facilities The Strategic Delivery Partner will support the Soft Landings process and activities in relation to the delivery of the Capital Projects Programme, with any new built or refurbished facility conceived, designed, built, and handed over to its FM services function with the needs of users and operators at the heart of the process from the outset, with the management of the asset considered throughout its life cycle (including the design development and build stages). To this end, the Strategic Delivery Partner will provide a range of professional services aimed at improving the outcomes of the capital programme. For example, the provision of practical buildability advice during the design stages to improve build quality, build cost and build programme, and provision of operational design reviews to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and FM once the asset is built.
