The Repair and Calibration of Optical and Fibre Optic Equipment

Babcock Land Defence Limited, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence (“the Authority”) has awarded a negotiated three (3) year Framework Agreement for the Repair and Calibration of Optical and Fibre Optic Equipment to Optical Test and Calibration Limited, at a value of £860,970. The Authority reserves the right to add items of a similar nature to the contract during its lifetime. It is considered this requirement can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(i) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 due to a failed competition caused by the absence of suitable responses to the previous restricted procedure reference 2023/S 000-041611.
