About the University The University of Sunderland has been providing higher education in the City since 1901 and has held University status since 1992. It is an innovative, forward thinking University with high standards of teaching, research and support and has strong links with industry and business. The University has two Sunderland campuses; one by the mouth of the River Wear, the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peters and the other in the City Centre, City Campus. More than £60 million has been spent on both campuses in recent years to ensure facilities match the quality of the courses. A third campus was acquired in 2012, The University of Sunderland in London, is situated in Canary Wharf in the heart of the financial district, offering a range of business related programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level for up to 2,000 students. The University employs approximately 1,600 members of staff and has approximately 21,000 students' worldwide. The University seeks to appoint a framework for the provision of Project Management. Following on from the success of previous frameworks and to support the University aspirations going forward, The University seek to develop framework agreements for the following consultancy service. 1.Project Management It is envisaged that 3 consultants will be appointed to the Project Management Framework. For the purpose of this tender award and any subsequent services which may be connected with the original award we reserve the right to spend a further 30% of the anticipated spend for University of Sunderland and all organisations listed above. The framework Period is:- 1st October 2017 to 31st December 2018 (With an option to extend for up to a further 24 months in monthly increments) Any commissions under this contract or framework maybe subject to external funding from bodies such as Arts Council, ERDF, Heritage Lottery Fund, LEP etc. and the successful suppliers will be expected to work with the University on any funding applications where appropriate.
