Capital Project Manager - The Department

Shademakers UK along with our Lead Partner Isle of Wight Council are delighted to have been awarded a £2m capital grant from the DCMS Cultural Development Fund the purpose of which is to level up through investment in culture This funding enables the capital development of DEPARTMENT, an exciting, bold, new cultural event and workspace created by transforming a historically significant former department store in the heart of Ryde, Isle of Wight. The former 'Packs' department store in Cross Street, Ryde has become Shademakers new base and is already home to artists, makers and workshop facilitators. This funding now allows for the building works to begin as we develop this space into a state-of-the-art creative resource for the whole island. We are seeking a fixed term Capital Project Manager to cover; Detailed Design, Cost Engineering, Consultant selection Winter 2022/23 Main works contract works on site December 2023 - September 2024 Decant and Activity/Work Spaces fit out The term of the contract shall be as soon as possible until March 2025. The closing date for receipt of Tenders is 12 noon on 9th December 2022.
