QQ24092 - Hire of 1 new Alexander Dennis 8.9m Enviro200 bus (12 month term)

This is for the hire of 1 new Alexander Dennis 8.9m Enviro200 bus on a 12-month supply only non-maintenance hire term. The bus will be operated by the Council's Travel Unit to transport home to school Primary and Secondary School pupils. The vehicles will not be used on any commercial routes therefore RTPI is not required. The bus is required to be in service for the new academic year therefore delivery is required by 23rd August 2024. The bus will be maintained by the Council's in-house Fleet Services Vehicle Workshop. The requirement is as follows: 1 new Alexander Dennis 8.9m Enviro200 bus based on the following specification: • Supply only non-maintenance hire. • Passenger capacity - 30 seats. • Standard seats • 25 forward facing fixed seats with 3-point seat belts and 5 tip up seats with lap belts • 1 wheelchair space accessed via manual ramp at front door • Blown-air heating system with forced air ventilation • PSVAR compliant • Delivery to WV10 0JN
