Description
Gutters are integral to a building's structure and serve to control the flow of rainwater to protect the roof, walls and foundations. A gutter clogged with leaves, sticks or other debris can cause a leaky roof or water damage to the interior of the building and therefore have the potential to affect our tenants. Gutters can also make nice homes for pests (experienced at Oaktree Gardens), rodents, mold and honeycombs from bee infestations. Therefore, it is important that we have a preventative measure in place to avoid these issues. We are currently in the process of installing downpipe guards to prevent large items blocking the downpipes at Oaktree Gardens as an additional measure. Cobalt is seeking to appoint a single contractor to carry out a cyclical maintenance Gutter Clearing in the North Liverpool area. Work will include the clearance of blocked drains and road gullies, and the clearance of eaves or roof valley gutters and downpipes.
