Tactical Hearing Protection - RFI

The MOD is conducting market engagement to inform potential future requirements to procure new in-ear Tactical Hearing Protection, whilst continuing to optimise and develop our capabilities. The MOD currently supplies a number of Hearing Protection capabilities to a variety of Users across the UK Armed Forces. The Authority is looking to gather information on the current market for individual hearing protection, for use in the tactical environment against battlefield noise, whilst maintaining situational awareness and ability to use communication systems. The authority also seeks clarity on what in-ear fit testing solutions are on the market too, both software based hearing test approach and hardware approach using pressure tests.
