Description
TfL are procuring the design, manufacture and supply of circa 61,140 seats for the 'S-Stock' trains. The S-Stock fleet of trains comprises of the following lines on London Underground: - Metropolitan Line; - District Line; - Hammersmith and City Line; and - Circle Line. This contract for an estimated duration of 3 years with an option to extend for up to 24 months. In total there is a nominal 193 trains consisting of two variants, 'S8' (59 trains circa 360 seats each) and 'S7' (133 trains circa 304 seats each).

These will be scored and ranked highest to lowest and the top 5 will proceed though to tender. However, if there is 5% gap between the 5th and 6trh ranked Bidders both will go though.
