Description

East Sussex County Council - Adult Social Care. Tender for a provision of WAA Supported Living scheme in East Sussex (Seaford Properties) Tender Advert Supported Living services for people with a learning disability and / or Autism. East Sussex County Council is seeking to work with a suitably qualified provider of services, to deliver a supported living scheme to people with a learning disability and/or autism. The form of this tender comprises the core care and support contract, as well as the expectation to take on the lease of two properties for a concurrent duration, in which to run the contract. We look forward to being able to work with providers that have the ability to meet the requirements of CQC in showing clear differentiation between a housing and care and support provider, as per the release in October 2015 “Housing with care”, (Guidance on regulated activities for providers of supported living and extra care housing). As part of the tendering opportunity, there will be a scene setting and questions & answers session held on Friday 29th January, from 10.30am to approx. 1.00pm to set out the scope of the tender opportunity. It will be held at: Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club 3 Harbour Quay Eastbourne East Sussex BN23 5QF A link to their website and directions is here http://www.shyc.co.uk/find.php?lang=&u=&p= Although there is no limit to numbers of people attending, Tenderers wishing to attend the briefing session should respond via the secure messaging service within the Tender section of the e-sourcing website, indicating who from their organisation will be attending, by Thursday 28th January at 4pm. The two properties have a total service capacity of between 9 and 10 beds, dependant on the configuration of the individual rooms. An opportunity to visit the buildings will be offered on Thursday 11th February from 9am to 12pm and Friday 12th February from 12pm to 4.30pm. Providers wishing to attend the site visits should respond via the secure messaging service within the Tender section of the e-sourcing website, indicating who from their organisation will be attending, by Tuesday 10 February 12 noon.
