Brief Description of Requirement The Scientific Computing Department (SCD), based at Harwell in Oxfordshire, provides services and infrastructure for the UK Science & Technology Facilities Council, the non-departmental government body behind much of the UK's research. SCD manages high performance computing facilities, services and infrastructure, supporting some of the UK's most advanced scientific facilities. The aim of the tender is to renew the software and support agreement for RedHat products and services. All Licenses are required to be activated for the 1st September 2019. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
