Description
Team Leidos are proud to be delivering the logistics commodities and services transformation (LCS(T)) Delivery partner contracts (LCS (T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) (the ‘Prime Contract’). Delivery of other parts of the LCS(T) contract are delivered by Leidos Europe Ltd (LEL) and other partners (together ‘Team Leidos’). This requirement is subject to the Public Procurement Regulations and respective advertising action. The Defence Clothing Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd. is considering the potential requirement for the Supply of Leather Gloves on behalf of the UK MoD, consisting of 4 Lots: Lot 1: Embroidered Badges The total estimated value for this Lot will be between £3,200,000 - £8,100,000, with a total contract length of 6 Years. Lot 2: Woven Badges & Medal Ribbons The total estimated value for this Lot will be between £860,000 - £2,200,000, with a total contract length of 6 Years. Lot 3: Metal Badges The total estimated value for this Lot will be between £9,300,000 - £23,300,000, with a total contract length of 6 Years. Lot 4: Buttons The total estimated value for this Lot will be between £2,200,000 - £5,600,000, with a total contract length of 6 Years. In addition, please note that as a framework agreement there is no guarantee of business. | Technical Stage | Bidders who have successfully passed the Qualification Envelope will progress to the Technical Envelope evaluation. A benchmark score of 70% or higher is required for the weighted questions within the Question Set in order to be deemed compliant. The Bidder’s Scores are to be ranked using a calculation weighted; 65% Technical Samples and 35% Commercial Envelope. | Commercial Stage | LSL intends to award a minimum of one Agreement for this requirement per Lot. However, LSL reserves the right to award up to four Agreements if necessary to ensure full coverage of the Schedule of Requirements (SoR)items and best value for money. The Bidder must tender for 100% of the items listed within the Schedule of Requirements within each Lot. Bidder’s must ensure that this includes prices for all the listed items. In each Lot, all items listed in the Schedule of Requirement are required. | price | — |
| Supplier Verification Visits | Team Leidos will visit the highest ranked Bidder per lot after the Commercial Evaluation Conclusion. This visit will be conducted in order to verify the key features of the Bidder’s submission, including, but not limited to delivery plan and manufacturing capacity, CWS capability, development capability. If Team Leidos are satisfied that the visit evidences the features outlined in the submission then the Bidder will progress as the preferred Bidder. If the Visit doesn’t satisfy that assessment, and a suitable plan of remedy can’t be actioned within an acceptable time frame, then the Bidder will fail this stage of evaluation, and Team Leidos will revert to the next ranked Supplier at the Commercial Evaluation Stage, in which case a Supplier Verification visit will be conducted with Supplier in order to see if it is able to progress as the preferred Bidder. | quality | — |
