Description

Bangor University has received a donation from the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation to create a state-of-the-art business school, which will be housed in the soon-to-be converted site of the former Friars Junior School on Ffriddoedd Road in Bangor. The refurbishment and development of this historic building and site will offer a really exciting opportunity to create a sector-leading business school, whilst conserving and renewing a significant, historic building in Bangor.The project aims to focus on refurbishing the historic asset, whilst extending to include a purpose-built vibrant Business School, to enhance the visitor, student and staff experience, and in turn entice future students and staff to the University. The University has evaluated tenders received and is now issuing a contract award notice.
