KMCCYP-156 High Needs Demand Management - Phase 1 delivery

Kirklees Council wish to undertake a review of the High Needs and SEND system. The High Needs and SEND system work mirrors the aspirations of adult's demand and capacity work around equality, aiming to improving access to the right support at the right point in the journey, and building staff capacity to better meet the diverse needs of the children and young people we support. A key output of this work will be to co -produce a coherent and overarching plan which puts in view all aspects of work. This will ensure we achieve our sufficiency aspirations and have adequate resources required to meet our statutory duties whilst providing assurance that budgetary challenges in relation to High Needs and SEND are being managed.
