Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Asbestos

This contract is for the ad-hoc transportation and disposal of approximately 130 tonnes per annum of asbestos waste EWC code 17 06 05 (Asbestos). The waste is sourced mainly from the Council's Household Waste Recycling Centres.\r \r The Council will store Asbestos at the collection site in 35 cubic yard enclosed roll on off containers. Containers will be provided by the Council.\r \r The Supplier will provide ad-hoc haulage of the Asbestos from the Council's collection facility at Chelson Meadow Refuse Transfer Station, The Ride, Plymouth, PL9 7JA to the processing site. \r The Supplier shall take ownership and responsibility of the waste once it has been loaded into the Supplier's vehicle.
