Description

Guildford Borough Council is seeking to procure a single contractor to undertake the design and construction of 18 affordable residential units, within two blocks with associated car parking, recycling area, cycle store and new landscaping. The site currently comprises a disused public house formally known as The Apple Tree. The site is situated on land between 227 Southway, Guildford and Southway Court, Guildford, GU2 8DY. The accommodation mix will include: erection of 1 x 2 storey block of ten apartments (4 x 2 bed & 6 x 1 bed) and 1 x 3 storey block of eight apartments (3 x 1 bed & 5 x 2 bed) together with associated car parking, recycling area, cycle store and new landscaping. The scheme is approved under planning reference 16/P/00802. All existing reports, drawings and documentation submitted for Planning Approval are available on the In-Tend Portal. The project will be procured via a Single Stage Tender, JCT Design and Build Contract 2016.
