Description
1.1 The Council has funded a school holiday play scheme for children and young people with a disability over the past 17 years. This service offered disabled children and young people the opportunity to take part in a range of fun activities within a structured environment. 1.2 In 2020, due to COVID 19 and the restrictions that the Scottish Government have imposed, an assessed and targeted holiday support service was developed. The Provider will offer holiday and term time support schemes as detailed below. This will be a flexible support service to meet the needs of the children and their families and will be carried out in partnership with City of Edinburgh Council.
