Description
The Provision of Domestic Goods is a non-statutory service that Surrey County Council provides to its residents. Although this service is non-statutory SCC recognises that the service improves the lives of the neediest residents in the county who are without the basic appliances. Eligible residents for this service are residents who have just moved into a new property who do not possess means to purchase basic and essential household appliances. There is a need to deliver these goods within very quick timeframes because eligible residents are without items such as cookers or beds and therefore will be unable to prepare meals or have a bed to sleep in. The delivery of white goods (Lot 1) is required in cases where there is a need for kitchen appliances. The delivery of furniture is required (Lot 2) to cover all other household appliances and furniture. Please note that the documents will be published on Friday 24th November after the OJEU notice has been published
